The term "hoodwinked" connotes being blindfolded or duped. The assigned film Hoodwinked reveals a plot that dupes both the characters and the viewers. More interesting is the manner in which the criminal investigation is conducted by wolf/twitchy, and later in Granny's home with the four suspects (Little Red, the Wolf, Granny, and Woodsman). Interviews constitute a kind of written and verbal communication that must be assessed to determine if the interrogation was ethical and valid. In this exam you will:

Be sure to include a discussion of whether or not the interrogators are guilty of misconduct, and whether or not their method was ethical or inappropriate. For example, one might argue that racial profiling plays a large role in the Hoodwinked interrogation. One might question the ineptness of the police, and their reliance on the savvy private detective to solve the mystery.
4. Remember that there are two investigations overlapping in this movie and must be discussed –how does the police chief as "bear" with his savvy detective "frog" compare to the investigation conducted by "wolf" as criminal reporter and Twitchy as his sidekick?
REQUIREMENTS: This essay is a MINIMUM of 4 pages, and is due VIA EMAIL (NOT ON THE BLOG) on October 2nd. Your paper MUST include quotes from the website articles. Plagiarism will not be tolerated. Our syllabus is being adjusted: Rather than meet in person on the 2nd we will meet one week later on October 9\to cover the exam results. Nevertheless, our Second Unit will begin, so be sure to follow the assigned readings proscribed on our G-Works syllabus.
